Amy Kyhos, Founding Board President

Amy Kyhos is a seasoned communications professional who has spent her career counseling organizations on external and internal communications designed to drive reputation, engagement and business growth.  She is the founder and president of Amy Kyhos Consulting, a communications and business consultancy, and is a member of the part-time business school faculty at Loyola University Chicago, teaching strategy, leadership and management.  Amy holds a B.A. from the University of Missouri and an M.B.A. from Loyola University Chicago.

Carl Belczynski, PhD

Carl R. Belczynski is an art lover and University of Michigan graduate, Ph.D and M.B.A, who brings unique experience to the Paragon Board.  After a successful career as a medical researcher in the field of Neuroscience, Carl has spent 14 years as a healthcare analyst and investor in the financial sector.  Currently vice president of Health Care Equity Capital Markets at a publicly traded investment bank, he looks forward to helping the organization establish financial stability while aiding in the design of Paragon’s research initiatives.

Stephanie Dean

Stephanie Dean is an established artist with local, national and international recognition.  After a period of time as a software test engineer, Stephanie moved to Chicago to earn her M.F.A. in Photography from Columbia College.  She then traveled to Hungary as an artist-in-residence in Balatonfüred.  An experienced gallery director, she has earned a certificate in museum studies from Northwestern University. Currently, Stephanie is teaching the History of Photography at a community college while running her own photography studio.

Adriana Soto

Adriana Soto has almost 30 years of experience working with the Hispanic and Latino Market, both in Chicago and nationally.  A veteran of Univision Communications, Adriana founded, Resultados Advertising Inc. in 2007,  as a full service multicultural advertising agency.  Adriana’s specialties include: strategic analysis, grassroots promotions and alternative media applications. As a business-woman, art-lover, DePaul University graduate, and Chicago native, Adriana is excited to use her industry experiences – from small businesses to Fortune 500 clients – to help Paragon develop and establish change within the community.

Cathryn A. Clüver

Cathryn Clüver is second-year MPA student at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, where she focuses on non-profit management and comparative immigration and integration policy.  She looks back on a ten-year career in journalism and communications, during which she covered European business and politics, urban development and immigration issues as a producer and writer for CNN-International in Atlanta and London, and a number of public policy journals. She also previously served on the management team of the non-profit think tank, the European Policy Centre in Brussels, Belgium. Tri-lingual herself, Cathryn is excited to use her experiences in order to create a successful, multi-lingual learning space that uses art to bring diverse communities together.

Julia Wolinsky

Julia Wolinsky has a B.A. in Studio Art from the University of California – Los Angeles, and is currently pursuing an Ed.M at the Harvard Graduate School of Education focusing on arts in education. Julia has worked for the past several years in non-profits on the east and west coast, with titles ranging from museum educator to director of volunteers.  While currently an intern at EdVestors in Boston, she is also volunteering with Teen Empowerment of Somerville as the resident artist and youth adviser.  Julia has been drawing from her professional and academic experiences to create interdisciplinary art programming that is appropriate for multiple ages.
